構造生理学・薬理学。2003年ノーベル化学賞受賞のAgre教授のもとで、水チャネル、アクアポリンの研究に従事してきた。水分子の動態(ふるまい)から生命現象を捉え直すことをテーマに研究に取り組む。(研究紹介ページを参照
